    Default Irmscher Suspension Info

I am looking for some information about the Irmscher suspention available from the dealers. I have tried a search but cant seem to find any information about it, possibly me just being useless

I am seriously thinking about this mod and using the goodwill gesture from vx to pay most of it because im not wanting to get new alloys etc as we do WAY to much milage

I know Duncan has it on his signum but i cant find any reviews on the site(im sure the bossman will help me out here with his review )from owners with it fitted to their vectras or sigs. Basic info required like how much is the drop, what is the ride like compared to standard and basically any info you think is relevant.

    Thanks in advance guys

I've also got the Irmy kit on my Siggy and it has totaly transformed the ride for me. Droped by 30mm (but as yours is an SRi i think it only lowers by 15mm).
My Siggy handled like a bathtub before - body roll city but nice and tight now...
I think you will be a happy bunny if you choose it...

    It's Mustang time...

    Thanks for the reply Mark

Due to where my wifes parents live we need to use pretty poor condition roads to get to them so i was curious to what the drop would be, thanks for clearing that up mate

To get your front axle weight, look at the sticker on the inside of the B pillar on the driver's side. You'll see 1 - xxxxxx The x being your FAW.

The kits on the VX site are the Irmscher ones. Your link doesn't seem to work BTW. I had a look at the site myself and, ferk me, how much are the kits!!! £734!!

I don't know if that's because it's the facelift versions, but that's almost £200 more than what my kit cost!

I got the Irmscher kit on my Vec, but it's an estate and that's the same floor pan as the Sigbum.
It does indeed lower things 30mm over standard.
But the SRi I believe is 20mm lower over standard so the Irmy kit should only go down another 10mm.
My last Vec was a hatchback SRi, and my estate well out handles that !!!, it is so much more stable, and just feels sooooo right in the corners.
However, the ride is, for the most part at least, not harsh at all. (I'm on 19's) Having said that, some people complain the SRi is hard !!!
I love it, I'm sure you will too.
