If its anything like the superchips bluefin you'll need to send it to a dealer to have it re-programmed. It's about 150 quid to get the bluefine one done (just as an example)

£150 would be a good deal.

Unless BSR have changed their policy they are locked to the car they are first installed on & are not transferable but it is excellent news if they have

BSR only reduce their greatly inflated prices (LMF are over £100 cheaper than BSR for theBSR remap) by a mere £80 if you get your PPC reprogrammed for another car.

Ouch!! the BSR PPC is good but it doesn't justify the price, I think I'll be looking elsewhere next time

i was wondering similar actually. no surprise there's no great reduction in price tho. but you do get a cracking remap for your money.

I certainly have no complaints about their map although it would be good to have a few more options like the EDS IPF

BSR WON'T re-programme your PPC for another car.

I had the BSR PPC for the Astra, and I managed to get a good deal from Nordic (BSR Importers) to send them back my PPC and have a new one for the Signum. Cost me a total of £230. Which is not bad for another BSR re-map.

But as said, they normally only offer a discount of £80 off the new PPC.

Rip off for sure. Superchips charged me £0.00 when I had my bluefin re-programmed from the Audi to the Land Rover because

    A) it was the same hardware
    B) it was under a year old at the time

But £150 I think is the normal price from Superchips which is good. They charge this small amount as you have already paid for the software lisencing for the re-map which what most of the cost is for a re-map.

BSR want there cake and eat it.

i wasn't going to bother with a remap on me new 150 but if i can send my ppc back and get one for 230 notes then it's worth a look, that's pretty much a bargain price.

now, where did i put it......??
