Plastic diesel input into injector

hi folks, did something very silly today, i was taking egr valve off and tumbled over ratchet D'oh!

And borke this little black thingy, technical term yes!

See attached picture and please could someone tell me if the black plastic clip cann be bought separately without the injector! god i hope so.

And if anybody knows the part number i`ll buy them a beer

Unfortunately you cant, its a complete rail, approx cost £30 or so.... I'm removing my old rail over the next couple of days and replacing with a metal one...

I now have a car that i cant use until i get a new one then! Splendid news

I'll see if i can change mine tomorrow and not snap any, (they get really brittle as you found out) If i get it off complete I could send it to you (I'm changing mine due to a suspect air leak but after further research dont think its the rail)

its the little plastic t shaped bit in case i`m not making sense...

if you have no luck you could try an injector refurb place!, if not post back and im sure one will be posted to you by someone. ill try vx down the road to moz just to check dose suggeston below.

I'm sure I've seen one floating about in my odds and ends container in my toolbox at work. I'll have a look tomoz and if it's there I'll PM you and you can have it. You're gonna be inundated with leak off unions now lol

nope, trust me i tried getting one when i did exactly the same thing... well at least they was available when i asked for them....
