    Default Badged Grille Sprayed!?

Just wondering if anyone has sanded/sprayed their standard grills to the colour of their car? Rather than a debadged one.

I have a Black Veccy C Pre-Facelight and was thinking of just taking my standard grill off and sanding down then spraying black. Could look better than debadged?

    Anyone ever done this?

I have done it, but i bought a primed V of the bay to spray and kept my original stock grill as a spare etc.. I prefer the colour coded look and have never been a fan of chrome otherwise i would have bought a Rover...

Here's a couple of my old one, I painted the V grille but left the chrome outer in a sort of facelift style.

I like that actually, might get rid of my irmy alu strip grill and do this instead, or have both to suit my mood

    That looks great actually!!
Saves some dollar and still looks great if not better than a slightly boring debadged grill.

I second that ^^, going to have to do this soon but going to spray they whole thing apart from the slats. Including the badge etc, will have a little think.

What type of paint did everyone use?
Mate was saying something about heat-proof paint.
