Default Rear Disc corrosion - `cheapo' Vx versus Vx`OEM' pads

I had new rear pads fitted by the Main Stealer last year. I think from my Omega days there were two specs for genuine Vx pads - ie the Vx factory fitted pads at £60+ and the VX 'aftermarket' ones at £24 ish. I think my Signum 2.2 now has the aftermarket Vx ones, and the rear discs are not cleaning up as well as I would like after the salt etc over this winter. Has anyone a recommendation for a soft / abrasive pad as we are not hard on the brakes, and the car is mainly our Motorway cruiser - ie not much brake use.

I use Mintex OE pads all round mate. I'm happy with them and have just bought another set ready for my next change.

Same, I use Mintex and have done for many years. I wouldn't use them if I was unhappy with them.
