    Default stupid Vauxhall

Spent today changing my pads and disk.

I have 2 sets of allan keys both of which are .....5.5,6,8,10mm... what does vauxhall use? 7mm! One day I will do something to the car that doesn't mean going to Halfords half way through!

Vx do the same with sockets, it's always the only one that isn't included in the set

The 7m/m has been standard on many brake caliper for a long time. Not only Vauxhall.
Still it does sound a stupid size to use. No doubt, they thought, lets make the job more difficult for the enthusiast, in the hope he will bring his car to us to do the job.

I have to admit I did think "damn foiled again, I better put it back together and take it to a dealer instead"
