    Default what tyre pressure??????

Hi chaps i have 19" snowies and i was just wondering what is the correct tyre pressure my mate said put 38 psi in i did and they looked like they where bursting off the rim ...but the other day my other mate read on the tyre they should be 50 odd psi eehhhh can this be right? at the moment i have 33 psi in i have never had low profile tyres before but i feel i am allways putting air in them....

    thanks guys

Double your rim size as a general rule... 38 is fine

really 40 ish mine looks the same as yours ehhh when i put 38 in the tyre was over lapping the alloy i thought with low profile tyres the alloy sits flush with the tyre

so you think say 38psi..... should the tyre be over the allow rim? becouse thats what happens when i put that amount in if you look down the alloy the tyre sticks over the rim

Some low profile tyres have a thick rim that is designed to stick out from the alloy to slightly protect it from curbs etc, it could just be that.

possibly but when i ran my finger around the edge it was kinda uneven slightly bulging in more places than some.... my drivers side tyre has uneven wear the outer rim is alot lower than it is in the middle i think its 1m so i am getting it changed this week do you think becouse i have not been putting enought air in and thats the side i sit its putting more w8t on the tyre cousing it to wear unevenly

Quite possibly, low pressure normally causes the outter edges to wear first.
