    Default 1.9 injector/nozzle swap

Has any one done this? My 2006 CTDi 150 (67k) has developed a bit of a misfire just above idle, esp. when cold or maybe stopped for an hour or so when it seems to be momentarily running on 3 pots, but is absolutely fine throught the rest of the rev range. It's recently had the EGR and it seems to be unrelated to the issues that was bringing up.
The stealers helpfully suggested a £800 top end stripdown for starters to 'diagnose'.
But, a bloke at work has the same engine in his Saab and had a very similar prob which was cured by replacing the injectors, so I thought I'd have a go....Any suggestions/hints? TIA.

Hi...According to the VIN no, it falls in the parameters of those with the modified wiring. Sorry, should have mentioned this.

it may be worth checking the injector plugs, just undo the plugs one at a time a squirt of contact spray and then try. i wouldnt of thought the injectors would be knackered at 67k.

If you do end up going for an injector change, the replacements will need their values programming into the ECU either TECH2 or OPCOM.

Do you have blue injector plugs then..?

One thing I would suggest to try mate, tie-wrap all 4 injector plugs on, make them nice and tight then give it a go - sounds strange, and for a matter of pence is well worth a try - it does work
