Default what fault code reader do I need

    HI There

I have a 2003 2.0 Dti with the car/spanner warning light coming on intermittantly.

What type of code reader do you think I need to tell me what the fault code is?

I have been asked if my car is fully OBDII compliant but I don't know. How do I tell?
    Cheers
    David

I think you will find that the early Vectra-C DTis were not OBD2 compliant.
    You need Op-com.

    Is this correct? I have a 2004 1.9 CDTi 150.

I cannot comment on a 2004 Diesel being OBD2 compliant or not.
What I do know is - Opcom will work on my 2002 Vectra 2.0 lit DTi
and my latest car - a 2007 Astra TwinTop fitted with the 1.9 CDTi 150 engine.
    Hope this helps
