hi mate, if it's a facelift then pull out the washer bottle filler neck, it comes out easily and then you'll have enough room to do it, i've just changed mine to hid's and i've also changed the side light bulbs and main beam, then slackened the bumper off and fitted silver indicator bulbs, whole lot took about an hour and half........i did the drivers side by removing the air box etc

Facelift here, so my comments won't really work for pre-facelifts.
Driver's side is harder - either remove the airbox or just put up with scratching your hands and wrists getting it in, it is possible.
Passenger's side is easier - remove the washer bottle neck, but you should be able to reach round and under.

If you're fitting HIDs not just changing bulbs then it's a much better job if you drop the bumper rather than try and squeeze the ballasts in with the bumper still on.

I used my missus makeup mirror to see the clips properly from behind the bulb as you should have enough access with the battery compartment open.

Rite I have changed the bulb, and I have 1 of 2 options without loosening the bumper or pullin the washer bottle neck. 1st open the bat cover n take the fuse box cover off. Then squeeze ur hand through the gap but u will get scratched or 2nd, get ur 5ft 2" girlfriend 2 listen to wat ur telling them n get her to put her small hand in n follow ur instructions. Job done.. Lol
