    Default New griffin

    Got the new griffin for the V of my sri xp vectra please any info on the best and possibly easiest way to fit ' ive seen a few suggestions on here '1 said remove old glue new there must be more to it than that'if not great'another said something about remove the V and old griffin and cover hole made prior refit of new griffin something like that try as i might i can't find this particular info again 'anyway all info appreciated Mel

    Trim : top of the line in both

    Engine : Z18XE,Z19DTH,Z20NET

    if its the 93mm version you need to snip the legs and file the stubs flat.. then you araldite it onto the V.. However the existing black plastic backing will be covered in the silver pins where the old griffin was attached.. so you can either knock up some new black plastic backing now or do it later on... i glued it on and decided to come back to it another day, or maybe not...

    I used an old DVD case as a backing plate, glued it on and bingo, still on today..... ok its sitting behind the wheelie bin as i have the irmscher grill now

    Just cut to a circle that fits in behind it and glue (ARALDITE) the badge on
