First of all hi everyone, I'm a new member to the site and need some info pretty quickly.
Basically I have been thinking of buying Vectra C for some time now, I am definately interested in the estate version and have seen a motor that I am interested in, the question is, how much do you learned Vectra C owners think I should be paying for it ?
I've seen the car in the flesh and it is in very good condition cosmetically, the reg is 56 (07) and the following is a description of the vehicle from the A4 sheet sat on top of the dashboard,

Thanks mate, I've already used that site plus One or Two others and was just wondering what the guys on here / in the real world thought was on the price of the motor that I'm interested in,

Ok guys, I need your advice / comments pretty quick, the asking price is £6995, and the question is, is this a fair price, I've spoken to the seller (Its a trader) and he has said he is willing to move on the price but not by much,

£6995 - I wouldnt , or try and get something off it, plenty of cars out there , i paid £5500 for my 06 plate 2 years ago, and thats an SRI 2.2 Direct with 38k i think it had then on the clock

seems very steep considering i just traded one very similar to that (56 plate 150 cdti sri nav estate on 75k) and i only got 5k for it. ok you get bent over when you trade in but that's a fair old mark up.

havent looked myself ...but what does that price compare against other dealers............pretty rare having a sunroof ..and on 19's .......what are the tyres like cos contis will cost you £180 a corner to replace...
At the end of the day I'm sure we have all probibly bought a car even if it was slightly over priced ..just because you fall in love with it

Well tyres are good, I've just paid the £3.50 for a valuation on Glasses guide and its giving me a retail / trader sale price of £6,680.

That's a pretty hefty mileage - in a year's time you'll have crossed 100k and the value of the car will take even more of a hit. Wouldn't you prefer a lower mileage car, even if it means buying a 2006 car instead?
