    Default rear brake bulb

    hi guys, my rear drivers side brake light stopped working this morn and the error has come up on my dash and computer.

    weres the best place to buy one of these bulbs?

    it's a 2002 52 plate Sri cheers

    Just make sure it's a single filament 12 volt 21 watt bulb.

    btw, you'll still have all brake lights working. The lower tail light takes over the role of tail/brake light should the upper tail/brake light fail.

    iT'S the lower one that dnt work, when I put my lights on they all work fine, but when I break the bottom drivers side dnt work

    Morrisons supermarket is about the cheapest place for bulbs and although there very cheap ive had no quality problems!!!.

    worth giving LIDL a try, they have complete light sets for £5, headlight, brake light, indicators, internal bulbs and a few assorted fuses

    Huh? Brake lights by defaulf are the upper ones, which share the role with the rear side lights. However should one fail, the lower tail light takes over as tail/brake light.

    Sounds like you've got something else wrong to me.

    Bulbs from top to bottom:

    Turn signal light
    Tail light / brake light
    Tail light (becomes tail / brake light if above bulb fails)
    Fog tail light (drivers side only)
    Reversing light
