    Default New aux input

Been busy this morning fitting my trusty Sony head unit and while i was at it made my own aux input for my phone/ipod
Cost £2.79 for a 0.4m audio to female 3.5m jack lead that fitted snugly into a hole drilled in the right lower spare dash switch.
Thats what i call a bargain
With this set-up my Nokia N95 automatically converts to hands free through the head unit!

    Ah, ok.

I need one that is 3.5 inch female on the dash and 3.5 inch male to plug into a 3.5 inch female socket in the back of my pioneer

How did you get the female socket to stay in the dash as there's no washer or nut to hold it in?

Did you push it into the hole from the back and glue it ?

I keep meaning to add a stereo input to my standard CDR2005. Got the stuff and know how, just not had the time to do it recently.

I drilled a hole that was barely big enough then twisted the socket in a few turns.
Other than the you could drill a hole the size of the connector and glue it in.
