    Default same wwird indicator problem

    car had left indicator on all the time nd bulb warning showing. changed sidelight bulbs and cleaned contacts but light wont go off and now sidelight not always working! any ideas or shall i torch the car?

    You say that the side light isn't always working, thats why your indicator light is on. Check for a good 12v supply to the side light
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    As above...

    It may be necessary to bend the connectors in the sidelight bulb socket a bit so they make firm contact with the bulb, as well as cleaning them. They may just not have sprung back enough to make proper contact with the new bulb after having been pushed back by the old bulb for years.

    Also try another new sidelight bulb in case the first new one was faulty itself, and check that you don't have any other lights out anywhere on the car.
