    Default Front bumper plastric strip.

Does anyone know howto remove the black plastic flexible strip under the front bumper?
I'd have a look, but my heads to big to fit under the car LOL, and i'm too lazy to jack it up.

I'm toying with the idea of painting it, i'm sure it'll look tonns better but i'm a little conserned as to how long it'll last before getting damaged. (speedbumps)

    many thanks...

Five minute job to get the thing off, just clipped in and held on with some black plastic rivet thingies. Well worth it ..........

I did catch it on a speed bump but it just pushed back into place.

two plastic bolts at each end one in the middle with a plastic spacer. Use a flat head screw driver to prise them all off and try not to break them as you will need to put them back on (or pop down your local VX and ask for a few 'spares'). Then just slowly pull the rubber strips out from the front of the bumper.
It really is easy and took me all of 10mins max to remove mine.

i'd take the front bumper off, its easier to get to then as some of the clips are a ****** to get to. Check the how to in the how too section.

I didn't even jack the car up and had mine off in 10mins?

I just slid a wide flat head screwdriver under the top of the plastic rivets and they just popped up and out.

on mine, around the middle of the bumper i have a flat plate which is part of the bumper. It then fixes back to the chassis with some of those black rivets. The plastic skirt clips are on top of that plate on mine so you cant actually get a screwdriver in to pop the clips out. Is yours a 52 plate cyb?
