    Default Radiator leaking

    Hi All,
Just noticed that the drivers side edge of the radiator is damp, looks like there is a leak.

Has anyone had any success with any of the rad weld products, or is it better to replace the rad. I’ve never used any of the sealing products, not sure if they can mess up the cooling system pipes/pump etc. or compromise the anti-freeze.

Any idea how much a new 3.2 radiator is (not sure if any of the vecs have the same fit) – do you need to exchange old unit.

    Cheers

Been an expensive day – had both front bottom steering arms (£137.25 each)- think these are also called the drop links and both rear shocks changed.

I wouldn't use radweld mate as it could block up some of the smaller water ways, would just bite the bullet and get new Rad'

I used 'Bars Leaks' a long time ago to cure a very small leak. It has been fine ever since. Use as the usage guidelines. It hasn't blocked anything up in the system, except for the small leak of course.

The coolant was changed after about 40,000 miles when I changed the waterpump. Not problems since.

    Thanks for your help/feedback all.

Think that the new unit looks like the best option - thanks for part No. and cost.

Can you replace the radiator without removing the oil cooler unit?
