Larisa wants me to get her a digital or electric piano. she will need some music sheets to play from. Does anyone know if there are any site that I can download any from. I dare say that we will be able to buy them from a good musical instrument shop. cheers all.

Yes...Jo gets them offline and there are loads of sites. Just put sheet music into google and off you go!! There are too many to list here...it's better if you look yourself and get what you want. Some you pay, some you don't. hth

Start her off gently with some Beatles stuff, before unleashing the Metallica ones on her.

Hi VV I want her to play like Rick Wakeman or Keith Emerson,or even Tony Banks, I think she plays the piano very well, [ she was forced to learn to play when she was young].

As stated above, do a Google on sheet music and you'll find lots of stuff.

You might find some of these links useful if you are considering buying a piano or want more info on music in general:

One good source of sheet music can be your local library. Some major cities also have a music library attached to the main library - usually with a very large selection of sheet music. They tend to be biased towards classical pieces, but there is normally a good choice of more modern/popular stuff too.

Don't know what your budget is for a digital piano, but as a minimum I'd check out the Yamaha and Roland ranges. You'll get lots of opinions as to which is 'best', but with any instrument, you need to sit down and play it for a while to see if it is the right one for you. My preference is for Yamaha - until I have enough cash for the Steinway Grand (and the house to keep it in)
