    Default vectra-signum front springs

my veccy just failed its mot on a broken front spring on the osf, ive managed to pick up a complete front strut off a signum.
it looks exactly the same strut and spring as the vectra but its got a diffrent part number.
coil thickness and number of coils exactly the same as an un broken veccy spring, so im thinking its the same strut and spring etc just different part number because its off a signum?

can anyone confirm this or shed any light on the situation? dont want to be going to the mot with an uneven front end lol.

You need to know what it came off as the spring may be for a different weight engine.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

It's probably a production PN. I'll have a look which model it fits at work tomorrow.

I've just translated a german web page that says it's a Boge shock absorber for a Vectra-C 1.9 CDTi 120.

Jezzy - he will need more info e.g. is it's normal / sports chassis and there were a few production breakpoints too. I'll know tommorrow exact.

Dom - PM me the chassis no & I will tell you if it matches - I think it's unlikely though as there are '00 of combinations btween the strut & spring in the production lifecyle.
