Default Help! Can't fold rear seat back up!

Hello all, my first post on here! I folded the rear seats down on my car yesterday, but when I came to put them back up again, the narrow one went up fine and locked, but the big one wouldn't go up. From what I can see the seatbelt inertia thingy has locked, so the seatbelt won't reel out allowing the seat to rise back up.

Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have any hints on how to get my rear seats back?!

Had this myself, if you lift seats up too quick the seatbelt locks, do it with ignition switch in radio/first position past off and it releases the inertia lock

Thanks a lot for the suggestion! Didn't work though I can't see any electrical connection to the seat back - its still stuck there. Any other ideas? I'm thinking of trying to remove the bottom seat cushion and see if I can remove the seat belt anchoring bolt to at least be able to raise the seat.

Until then, I am stuck with a 3-seater!!

This doesn't directly answer your problem, but there's some sort of linkage to prevent the middle seatbelt being drawn out if the seat back isn't correctly locked in.

I had this problem as well, It took a lot of pulling and squeezing to get the seat to move enough for the seatbelt to click back, a real pain in the Ar$e !!

Sorted in the end, managed to remove the bottom seat cushion and remove the retaining bolt for the seatbelt. It zipped up the back of the seat and for a while I thought it was going to be stuck there, but then it eventually freed off and I have a 5-seater again! Think it was something to do with the mysterious 'linkage' mentioned above - anyone have a parts diagram or more information? Thanks again for the suggestions!
