    confused Lowering my car??

Hi im looking to lower my Vec but i aint got a clue what it involves.

I dont want to lower it too much just a nice amount. Do i just go to a garage and get them to do it or should i buy the neccessary springs or whatever and then go to the garge to have them fitted.
How much does it usually cost?

    thanks for your help

Get some eibach springs. You can use the standards dampers with them or buy Bilstein b4 or b6. You can do it yourself. Check out the How2 section.

I'd do what John35 says. Get some Eibachs. They do ones that take 30mm off the standard ride (-15mm on SRI and GSI models). You can pick these up for about £150 new.

Take them to a garage and get a quote for fitting. I've heard (though as I've not lowered yet myself) that it should only take a garage about 30mins each spring, so in theory they should be quoting you for about two hours work.

I cant remember a decent price for labour so maybe someone else can enlighten jordib?
