    Default springs

while i was fitting new discs and pads all round on saturday i noticed that the n/s/r spring has snapped so i think now is a goot time to replace them for lowered ones, i dont want to go to low as there are loads of speed bumps and crappy roads round here, so was thinking if i got <30mm springs that would lower my sri by 15mm is that correct,
the thing is i cant seem to find any for the 3.0 cdti,
also its not something i have ever done or seen done before so as much as its going to pain me to do so i will be getting the garage to fit them, is it worth doing the ARB,s and droplinks at the same time as the car is making some horrible noisies on uneven roads,
    sorry for the long thread
and thanks for any info you guru's can offer

What are the axle weights on your car, inside drivers door on pillar.

I imagine the ones on LMF should be ok.........

Your front axle weight is 1160Kg and rear 980Kg. So i imagine you will need the bottom ones in the drop down list.

    Part No. 10-65-007-07-22
    1131-1230Kg

I'm sure a quick call to LMF would confirm this.

    cheaper than Ebay too.

    cheers mate,
would it be worth doing the ARB and droplinks at the same time as usually i would do it myself but like i say i have never done it before and wouldnt want to balls it up, surley it would be cheaper to have it all done together than have to go in twice, from what i have read its not that much for the parts, couple of quid for each ARB and about 40 for the drop links so its just how much extra the garage will charge.

Will tighten up the ride and make it feel like new with all that running gear replaced,,

thats what im hoping as its a bit sloppy and sounds horrible unless driving on flat roads, so if i say about £200 for parts just need to find out what the garage will rob me of now.

They might go, but the 3.0CDTi is the heaviest engine and I'm not sure how they will cope with the extra weight.
