    Default fog lights

My car is still under its 3 month warranty from the local garage, i said to them about the fog lights having water in them,

Is this a common problem with the fog lights as they are quite low in the bumper?

Hopefully il get them to replace them as i can assume once water has got in there it will only happen again.

yes it is quite common especially on the passenger side under the washer bottle. I believe there is a fix for it or a revised design or something. Have a search on here and I'm sure you'll be able to find it. being under warranty, hopefully Vx will sort it for you, if not you can probably drill a small breather hole in the fog somewhere.

This is often due too water leaking into them from above espically the passenger side , due to it being under the washer bottle other causes to check are cracked lenses from stones.
or badly fitted caps at base of unit all are known reason,s for water in th spotlight,s

you can dry it out by taking the cap off the bottom, switching on your fog lights for about 5-10 mins and then replace the caps and see if they will up again. Another tip is when filling wiper fluid, don't fill it as full as you can get, try to keep it below the seal between the bottle and the filler neck.
