No, this is just caused by condensation. This is common on all petrol engines. You should check the exhaust or anything external. Is the gear change ok. The corsa suffers from gear linkage failure.

I assume that she only does short runs with the car, the creamy stuff is water mixed with oil from constant heating up and cooling down of the engine, no major worries if it's not losing any coolant. As for the rattle i'm sure there was a recal on the 1.2 corsas for timing chain problems at one point

that could be down to short trips and condensation around filler cap.. best way is to get a garage to do a sniffer test in expansion tank..as for the rattle that could be something catching as engine flexes on its mountings..or the heat shield on the exhaust rattling... dont be so quick to condeem the head gasket...pity you dont live closer i would have done the sniffer test and other checks for you

if you have'nt already change your oil to semi-synthetic this usually stops the creamy effect with the 1.2 corsa .

My Daughters friend has a 1.2 corsa that had the same symptoms, it turned out to be the head gasket, and the timing chain was making a noise. They fitted a new engine in the end as it worked out cheaper than doing both the head and chain, I think it was a 52 plate.
