    do around 20k a year i would say,

    im only 22 so insurance is pritty steap or i would hav ethe 2.8 vxr

    i like luxuary aswell and i know the v6 cars on auto trader have some high spec extras and good priced aswell


    the only other model that tempted me was the 2.0t butthink the v6 diesel will suit me more???

    but like i say i think its gona be the v6 fro me lol

    what insurance group is the 2.8t as i can obly find the inc group for the vxr?

    If you open the links I put up and look in the sunnary tab it states they are a group 15.

    Its basically the same engine as the VXR but detuned to 250bhp from 280. Nothing a remap won't take to 300

    All the V6's are very good

    chees for that mate will get a few quotes just i know direct line "who im insured with at min will only insure me on anything up to a 14 and some cars they do quote on on 15 depending on the car?


    with out sounding silly why is every one against tuning the v6 diesel?

    because the fuel pump is £3k and they tend to go pop when remapped.

    good enough reason ... direct line wont touch me on the 2.8 elite


    whats the 0-60 and top speed on the v6 diesel... i can get a decent quote else where on the 2.8 but pref stay wi direct line

    0-60 i think is about 9 seconds and top end about 140mph but they tend to run out of puff at 130mph as its too high in the rev range for a diesel, although I think they are quicker then 9 seconds but they require 2 gear changes, as 60mph is 3rd gear.

    Hvae you had quote from chris knott? he provides good cost insurance and is an approved trader on the site
