You got a link to the specific springs on ebay you're talking about?

Koni springs are good -and you'll get a far better ride if you pair them up with some matched dampers.

The main thing you have to make sure is that you get the right springs for your particular engine (front axle weight).

They'll be okay(ish) with the Vx dampers, but if you put lowering springs onto the standard dampers you'll wear out the original dampers more quickly. You'll also get a double bounce as the dampers aren't uprated to match the stiffer springs.

As you've got an SRi you'll have uprated dampers on it already - not up to the same spec as the Irmcher ones though. Your SRi will also already be 20mm lowered compared to the other models - so depending on the springs you're looking at, you may only lower it another 10mm.

If looks are your main priority then some lower springs along with your SRi dampers will do that and give you a decent ride/handling.

If handling is your top priority, and looks secondary, then a set of dampers matched to the lowering springs will give the best handling.

yes i only want it to drop a bit on the front as i think it sits up to high it dont handle to bad but have been told it will handle a bit better with just springs i would love the irm kit but for 800 quid off irm its a bit over the top for everyday use i think

I got 888 springs on my SRi shocks and handling vastly improved. If anything it felt like the standard suspension as fighting itself.
