    Vehicle : vauxhall

    Trim : 150

    Engine : 1.9 cdti

    Year : 54

    Default Need some advice.

Hi guys I have got an op-com. DADDAR lol.

My problem is. I just recently bought a vectra c. Now with the car i got nothing. only the logbook MOT and the manual. not car pass.

so i trotted on down to my local vauxhall dealer and say Mr vauxhall can i have my codes please. he said yes sir let me get my mask on while i rob you of ya money.

any whoos rang them the next day and asked them if the got the fax yet with my details on. they said yes sir here they are and reeled of my mechanical key number radio code and immobiliser code.

I said to the Mr vauxhall what about my security code he says well the immobiliser code is the security code so i said ok. thank you see you in a few days for the hard copy.

so I get the op-com out and connect to my car tried to login to my CIM modual and its says condition incorrect. wrong security code. so i tried to login to my dash same message tried to login to everything else and got the same message. so i rang vauxhall up and they said nope code is correct.

so tried again and no look

looked at diagnostic data it says code status wrong entered then says wait time active then a timer 0.10.00 witch after 24 hours never changed. also changed my version of op-com software to a lower version from the most recent to no change

so now am i on here writing a novel of my life story on my vec c.

i hope someone can shed some light onto this. i have been told code is in the ecu so how do i get the code if no one has it?

also have read each control unit on my car to check the VIN number in-case of part change and the vin numbers match.

thanks in advance for all help.
