You can only extend a Network Q warranty when it was bought through Network Q
What you can do is purchase an extension to the OE warranty, giving you a fourth year up to 60K miles or 80K miles
You could also purchase the Complete Protection Plan, prices and terms are contained in the booklet; there is a basic plan and a comprehensive plan (which includes servicing and brakes, and that alone pays for the plan)

8K miles on a two year old seems strangely low, I therefore assume it has been serviced at least twice which will confirm how low the mileage is!

The car would not be on Network Q from new, Network Q is for used cars
It would therefore either be on the balance of the new warranty, or the warranty offered by the garage that sold it to you

We need to know how old and what mileage the car was when you bought it and the same for now
It may still be under OE warranty

Regardless of any warranty offered by the garage your car is covered upto 3 years with the Manufacturers Warranty.

Before the end of the Manufaturers Warranty you can extend it with VX, its called Sureguard upto £60,000 miles (as mentioned previously), it costs £425 or you have the option of 10 instalments at £42.50 per month (you have to apply for it BEFORE the current warranty expires).

This can also be done for the 5th year at the same price and terms, upto 80,000 miles (as mentioned previously).

This is the path I chose and it served me well will any claims I had to make.
