    Default Mirror glass fell off

Yesterday when I drove away from work I noticed the the mirror glass on passenger side was flapping around. So the next time I stopped at some lights, I reached over and picked it up out of the mirror assembly.

It was totally unattached. Lucky that it didn't fall out and smash...

Now, it is only the glass that had come out. The place where it normally sits is like a polythene covering. What do I need to stick it back in with and still have an operable heated mirror - as I guess the element is behind this polythene type covering.

    Cheers

Hi Ste, i had the same thing happen to both of the mirrors on my car.(they came loose when I was cleaning them). I put them back in place using araldite rapid epoxy. Seems to work well.

Happened to me. Used double sided tape heated up with a hair dryer to get really sticky. Just make sure you position correctly first time within the frame! Heater function still works.
