    Default Swapped glow plugs today

How scary is it swapping the plugs, lol?!!?!?

Two were seriously tight and I thought they were going to snap. A little bit of winding in and out slowly soon got them free. Phew!

The thread on all four plugs is knackered, so its pretty clear why they were troublesome. Will post piccies in a bit.

The new ones were a little tight when going in, too. I guess the thread in the head isn't in very good nick either now.

Am I right in saying the resistance across the plugs should be 0.9 Ohms?

Readings from the ones I removed today are:

    1. 1.998M Ohms
    2. 8.08k Ohms
    3. 16.1 Ohms
    4. 295.0 Ohms

Hopefully, this swap will clear my spanner light when starting.

That was my worst nightmare. I've heard horror stories of them snapping.

I put some copper grease on the threads when I put the new ones in. I can't see me ever needing to whizz them out again, though.
