Default not the usual power loss help???????

hi all i am quite handy with cars and have done alot to my veccy but i have this anoying problem which i dont know what else it can be here goes

when driving about at part throttle and cruising at a steady speed the car sometimes feels like its missing just ever so slightly hardly even noticeable but as soon as you floor it it pulls ok and i know its a 150 cdti estate but it does not feel like it is a 150hp car if you know what i mean so far i have done

new inlet manifold with actuator motor done 600 miles go
new clutch and flywheel 600 miles ago
    new alternator 600 miles ago
    new thermostat 600miles ago
    new egr valve 600miles ago
i have cleaned boost sensor and done airbox mod
    i have cleaned maf
i have also had opcom and have no current or stored fault codes

and also my engine number is after the problems with no3 injector wiring mod so i take it i dont need it then if my engine was made after the number on the posts it still has yellow plugs though

car runs ok and mpg is good at around 46mpg average around town and motorway

car is 2006 06 reg 150 cdti estate with 67000 miles and has just been serviced could the dpf be causing this???

alo i have blanked egr valve with homemade blanking plate with two 6mm holes in could this cause the problems and lack of power?????

please guys i need help i have no idea what could be causing this thanks guys

Did you win the lottery "600 miles ago"? lol.

As it seems to be a minor symptom, something as simple as a bottle of diesel injector cleaner into the fuel tank might do the trick.

you coud try removing the blanking plate for a couple of days to give it a try!!, other than that you can try the 3rd injector mod if! it seems it has'nt been done.

    Vehicle : CDTI 150

    Trim : Design

    Engine : Z19DTH

    Winnie,
My CDTI has a similar fault, it occurs between 2K and 3K revs.
Mine has also has everything changed as per yours.
I've not only done the 3rd inj mod but I done all 4 plugs, also my EGR, which is new has a normal gasket. So I dont think the fault will go if you remove your homemade gasket or if you do the 3rd inj wiring(but I would advise changing the plug anyway).
I've carried out a live data trace with OPCom and found nothing amiss.
I also removed my injectors and replaced the washers as I thought that one of them may have been blowing past the seal.
I've also removed all the pipe work from the MAF to the throttle body to check for leaks and cleaned the throttle body.
So head scratching at the moment.

My next plan is to change the MAF and boost sensor on spec and also check the gaskets on the inlet manifold for seepage.

cool at least i am not the only one then its only a slight miss and only on part throttle like you say between 2-3k rpm, and only happens now and then its not that noticable but i can tell as soon as you plant the throttle it goes away.

i was thinking maybe a air leak in one of the vacuum pipes but would that cause these symptoms or not?????

I had the same problem. I tried 10K Boost squirted through the inlet pipework after the maf. This seem to have cured the problem for me. But seeing as you have already changed your manifold and egr most of your inlet will be clean. Its £20 a can so you could give it a go and see if it makes a difference. There is a how to for it aswell.
