    Default

    You will need:

    Either:

3 or 4 Digit stereo number:
    http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/7094.html

    or

    2 Digit Stereo number:
    http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/7093.html

It depends on the original stereo AFAIK.

One of these depending on what brand stereo you get.

    Hope that helps

Trick year on your signum...2004 is when they changed from half canbus to full canbus (October to be exact)

If your radio is a NCDC, NCDR, CCR or CDR, then this is half can, and will use ISO connectors.

If your radio is a CD30, CDC40, CD50, CD70 Navi, then this is full canbus, and will need a lead with a Quadlock connector...you will also need an aerial plug adapter.

The steering wheel interface looms are also manufacturer specific for the headunit you plan to fit....such as JVC, Sony, Kenwood etc...

Try visiting the "Autoleads" website for different cable options

Yes, whatever the display did before, then it will still do.

Dependent upon set-up, sometimes the display will show the aftermarket head-unit details, but most head-units don't support this.

You must ensure that if you have Board Computer function already, that you have the stalk switches and steering wheel buttons fitted.

Without these, you will be unable to clear check control messages, and other BC functions.

Also as said above, yours is the half-can set-up...when you visit web-sites or Halfords etc...ensure that you quote for the early Vectra-c and Omega-B with the ISO connection.

Do the stalk switches apply just to pre canbus or both pre and full canbus cars?

Mine is full canbus, has the board computer and thumbwheel steering wheel control, but not the wiper stalk switch.

    Thanks.

Full canbus is scroller wheels and buttons on the steering wheel (October 2004 onward)
    No stalk switches.

Half canbus uses stalk switches and steering wheel buttons (no scroller wheels) - models from start of production 2002 to End of September 2004
