    Default another heater motor fault!

today i turned the heaters on and front demister. it went off within 3-4mins of driving off. its been raining and the passenger footwell is wet. i have done the pollen filter drain for the third time in a year, this is the only time its flooded through.
i have taken the glovebox out and looked at the resistor pack, its got a slight bit of corrosion on the top but it seems fine. if anyone knows a test to prove its good i would appreciate it.
the big thing worrying me is when i took out a screw in the bottom of the heater motor i got a small amount of water out, around 15-20mils.i think its shorted something inside. all the lights on the heater controls work and i can hear relays clicking when the fan control is set to position 1,and 4, and when the front demister is turned on another relay clicks.

does anyone know how to remove the heater?

    any info is greatly appreciated.
    cheers, mick.

Does anyone have any tips on removing the heater motor as I can't find much about it online or on here? Or a link to removal/fitting?
    Cheers, Mick

    Default

    Did mine the other day

Remove glovebox, thers one screw that holds in the plastic tube to put air onto your feet remove the screw and the tube will put out, remove the wireing plug that goes into the motor, there is 3 clips that tou will see holding the motor in along with around 10 screws then it will pull out with a bit of twisting, took me a couple of hours to do mine because I didn't have the right tools

To get to all the screws out you will neet to use a flexi screwdriver.with a torx on the end

    Any problems just pm me
