Pretty much mate. I could not figure out how to get it out of the crash box and the lid was tight as hell, but a hammer and screwdriver eventually shifted it... No issues with bleeding as stated, just make sure the filter gives a good seal and is seated properly as mine leaked everywhere to start with...

    Yip - so basically.

Remove the top two fuel hoses by pressing in the catches with a small flat blade screwdriver - you will see what I mean when you see the hose connections - no problems
    Remove the top elec connector
Lift the cannister out of the holder. You will find it set in there quite well - so put your hand underneath and push it out
Remove the electrical connector from the bottom
Once out the car - undo the drain on the bottom of the cannister and drain the diesel out
Now the only tough bit - remove the cannister top.. I did this by trapping the cannister in a workmate between two pieces of metal, then with a pair of oil filter pliers undid the lid. Be patient and you'll be fine - but you will need a set of oil filter pliers or the likes as you just cant get the turn by hand (well I couldn't as mine (and chrisvectra's) was very tight)
Once undone - remove filter and tip out excess diesel.

re-assemble in the reverse order.. Be sure to use the new seal that comes with the filter - and that its sitting correctly on the cannister. Take note of where the old one sits before you completely remove.

When you re-attach the top two fuel hoses - make sure the clips clip back in properly.

once all re-assembled - switch the ignition on and off three times leaving the ignition on for 10 seconds each time - this is enough to self bleed the system

    Job done..

Erm, yes, mine was in situ... Needed a hammer and a pointy thing to undo it, but I couldn't for the life of me get the casing out of the crash box so I didn't have much of a choice...

    ** SILLY QUESTION ALERT **

I assume the filter is the bit at the top of the engine bay, pretty much smack in the middle..?
