Tried to drive up a snowy hill when it snowed a few days ago, got half way then wouldnt go any further, when I put brakes on whole car just started sliding backwards gettign faster, had to ram back end into grass verge then when accelerated front end slipped down hill so car nearly ended up sideways across (road is only a very narror road) had whole road blocked, luckily nobody else was stupid enough to drive down it. N yes thats my kayak in back, just because its cold doesnt mean you cant go paddling :-)

Cant even get in my drive just now, cant be bothered going to clear the snow either just parked in aq parking bay across the road.

no damage at all, back of car wedged on verge so was fine. got it free in end by driving onto verge (felt like i was in a 4x4) then swinging it round

When we had it bad down here, I just let some air out of tyres (not a lot, maybe 4-5 psi), to give a bigger contact patch, and let the car pull away on tick over (diesel). I only got stuck once! Then the ABS and TC lights all lit up. Thought I'd broke it then but turned off ignition and restarted and all lights went out. Still got towed by a landy though
