Up rated Springs

Since purchasing a 08 plate Zafira my 54 plate Vec now feels rubbish in the corners. So i'm thinking of getting some lowering springs to stiffen things up a bit. Don't want it to be on the floor. 30mm would be enough. My Vec C is a 2.0 DTi Energy with 60,000 miles.
Question 1.) Is it okay to change springs on shocks at this age??
Question 2.) Recommend me a decent set.

Change springs whenever you like especially if you have standard VX springs (they break)

Eibach are the ones you want, 30mm drop and great control, maybe slightly pricey though

I'll have a look for them then. The cheapest i've seen are PI springs but i've never heard of them
