Shock absorbers for a 1.8 sri?

After yet another broken spring, i've gone and got myself a set of Spax springs.

I'm probably going to get myself some new shocks while i'm at it and i've been looking at the B4 Bilstein's at eurocarparts.com.

My question is simple: Are the shocks fitted to Vectras the same across the entire range and just the springs are rated differently?

I ask this because the part numbers for the shock absorbers (front left, front right and rears) for a 1.8 sri vectra (as mine is) are exactly the same as those for a standard 1.8 vectra on the eurocarparts website.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated guys!

b4's are really just a better standard shocker and if your lowering it then b6's would be better. thing is they cost a lot more for b6's. I've went for the supersport sprint kit at £240 delivered but i'm still waiting after about 3-4 weeks for them to be sent from germany as the ran out of springs apparently.HTH my standard shocks only lasted 2 weeks after putting 45mm springs on aswell.

So what's the difference between a 'standard' vectra shock and an 'sri' shock?

If there's isn't any, i'll probably just go for B4's and the lowering springs.

B4 rear shock = £36.95!

B6 rear shock = £98.56!

Is it REALLY worth the difference?
