    Default standard lowering

    According to Parkers test report on the Vectra C SRi at a certain point the lowered/stiffened sports suspension was apparently a no cost option. Has anyone seen an SRi without sports suspension?

    Is the lowering 20mm compared to standard i.e. same as it was on the 'B' SRIs?

    I've always been under the impression that all SRi Vec C's had the sports suspension as standard from the start.

    Yes, it's 20mm lowered.

    Does the GSI use the same suspension as the SRI?

    Also, when people change the OEM 17" for say 18" or 19" wheels are you lowering the car futher, or still utilising the "Standard" lowered suspension?

    That's what I thought. I'll try and post an image of the Parkers options list tonight for your consideration.

    GSi should be the same as far as lowering and uprating goes except that the front springs (and possibly dampers) might be different to take into account the extra weight of the V6 (at least that's how it worked on the V6 'b's).

    No, changing the wheels size doesn't have any effect on lowering, suspension wise. It would physically lower the car a little if you changed the overall rolling circumference by changing the profile of the sidewall on the tyres.

    All SRi's will have the suspension...well, from new anyway, probably a few s/h ones about that some daft@rse has swapped it for standard kit.

    They introduced the lowered/uprated suspension in the early Vectra B SRi
