    lookie what he brought me


    cant wait to fit the saturday, but just a quick one, they are marked up left and right would that be looking from the front or rear of the car,

    i also got my brodit phone holder with pass through today so will post pics of everything fitted on saturday

    they were exspensive at £450 for front and rear discs and the green stuff pads i have the 3.0 cdti so there 314 at the front, just held them up against my mates 2.0 dti brakes(he got the oem set from vx) and mine look HUGE

    left and right is as your sitting in the car - i.e. drivers side is right...

    Not wanting to be the party pooper - but just go easy on the greenstuff pads until you are happy with how they perform.

    I take it they are going on a vec... trouble with Greenstuff on a heavy car like the vec is that they can get quite hot and then they have been known to fade..

    They are defo better than OEM, just dont expect them to be up to track style breaking etc..

    I talk from experience having tried green, red and yellow stuff pads on a multitude of cars - the one being most like the Vec being my Saab 9000 Aero (all be it 362BHP of her!)

    For me - yellows were by far the best all round.. EXCELLENT cold performance - miles better than OEM, and I couldnt get them to fade on a track day either so best of both.

    As I say the will be great for 'fast road', just get used to them thats all

    Oh, and be prepared to wash your wheels twice a week with Greens (and grooved discs)

    the wife drives more than me and she use's all of about 45 bhp lol, i dont really hammer it either (have a gsxr for that) but i had a set of green stuff on my vectra b and couldnt fault them
