    Default Blanking gasket ?

    Hi
Can anyone tell me the correct blanking gasket for the EGR. For a 120 8v if I replace them with the blanking ones can I do this from the silver pipe with two oval gaskets in or do I need to blank it off from the black bit which should have a square gasket in I think.

Any part number or website would be good

    Thanks

Disconnect the wiring plug and undo the two torex bolts and it splits in half..

It's a funny shaped gasket with two holes about the size of a 10 pence, blank one off to stop the gas flow, the other should be open to allow the valve to move and tell the ECM it's working properly, or, the EGR operation can be tech 2'd out the ECM if need be.

*ahem* I used a Budweiser can *ahem*

Coke can works fine....for a while.

Even less good if you've put holes in it.

The last thing you want is bits of aluminium finding its way into the combustion chambers etc.
