You want to keep it lowered 40mm.... does that mean its lowered already..?

If so, you will need the same springs as you have, other wise (if you WANT to lower it 40mm) then PI springs are what you need, but some have had problems with non-SRi shocks.

Front shock..? Ebay, local scrappy, Eurocarparts etc....

Eibach's are good, i paid £150 for my set and that lowered her by 30mm i think it was, i'm a little confused though are you looking for an individual spring or a full set of 4, i'm not sure if you can get separate lowering springs.

I would recommend the PI ones as I have them. But like its been said they broke my front shocks within 2 weeks.

You'll need a spare Koni spring then, or a full set of others.

You could, but it wouldn't really sit level, and I'd be wary of differing spring rates between manufacturers upsetting the handling of the Vec.
