No mate. For the whole system to be fitted it's a different loom for a start. Not to mention the sensors on the suspension etc.

888 will fit a sports button for you but it's more like an off / on button between 160bhp and circa 200bhp.

Didn't think 888 were actually fitting Sports buttons yet? I know that if you have the Sports button they will do the two remaps. I thought they were, currently, looking into retro-fitting (so to speak) the Sport button to give the dual map option. Obviously any retro fit of the Sports button won't have all the suspension stuff that would be there on a car with it factory fitted.

The sports button fitted by Vx at the factory is the full system. Damper settings etc.

The sport button fitted by 888 is a basic switch between two maps - a 160bhp or a 200bhp. An excellent idea if you ask me.

Maybe Duncan is right jonno and they're not fitting it to cars who haven't got the button already, but you're only round the corner so we wait on your advice dude.

Isn't that what I basically just said?

That's what I understood from a discussion on another thread and the bit on the VXR Perfromance Centre's website.......

"At the VXR Performance Centre we have developed various engine tuning programmes for both petrol and diesel vehicles in the Vauxhall range. We have software based options, hardware component options or a mixture of both, for a wide range of vehicles. If your vehicle is fitted with a “Sport” switch, we utilise this function to offer a choice of ECU re-maps. With the “Sport” button on, you achieve maximum power and torque - as shown left for the LEH engine. With the “Sport” button off, you can have either an enhanced Standard ECU map or the ECU controlled fuel economy map, giving you maximum mpg when you do not require the power. We are also developing this function for vehicles not fitted with the “Sport” button."

I guess they'll announce it when they have developed it - unless they already have and haven't updated the website!
