Default Very high clutch biting point

The biting oint on my clutch is right ant the top of the pedal. i only have to rest my foot on it and it makes a grinding noise.

Is my clutch on it's way out?

Age is nothing to do with the clutch wearing, its all down to the human behind the wheel.
