I have a 2007 car, 2.8T elite auto. I fitted the traction button and it worked straight away.

Vectra C facelift chassis is much better at handling the power/torque.

I went from an 04 pre-facelift Vectra with TC to an 06 facelift without TC, both SRi 1.9 150's and the chassis improvements on the facelift is far better so doesn't really need it.
That is what Vx say (Marketing Spin), early facelifts had TC even with the 'improved' chassis, it was deleted in 06; I also believe Opels continued to have TC (may be wrong on this).

Good point, thats what I have done. As you say Gazza, it makes the dash look less bland.

Thats good news, all V6 (petrol and Diesel) have ESP+ so the TC button will work.

If you have a later car with just the optional ESP, the traction control is not switchable.

From personal experience, the facelift chassis is way better and the front wheel didn't used to brake traction half as much as the pre-facelift.

Agreed the chassis is better, I still think that TC should be standard on the car and is a shame Vx deleted it. My cynical brain tells me it is cost cutting as it coincided with other deletions like the rear heating vents.
