    Default Traction Control Switch

Just been reading about tc switch's and trying to get it in me head wots to do

basically if you have a plug behind the cover then buy a switch and fit it on,and in theory if it wired it will work ok.???
Do you need to do anything else ??
Do you buy a TC switch or an ESP switch, lloking at the majority i should have the wiring to do the job. 2008 sri 2.0 turbo, hope so anyway, she does like to light the inside tyre up comin off islands if you let it

    Cheers in advance all.

The TC switch turns off the traction control, if you don't already have Tc then it won't give it to you.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

It will 100% not work in your car. You havent got TC in the first place so you can't turn something on thats not there.

You will have the plug in the dash as all dash's have the same looms.

The ONLY cars that the TC switch will work is the 2002 - mid 2005 half canbus cars with the 3 buttons on the steering wheel, even then it is not guaranteed.

So unfortunately your car is not set up for it.

Nothing to do with cost cutting. The Vectra B chassis was ****e and it needed all the help it could get.

Vectra C facelift chassis is much better at handling the power/torque.

I went from an 04 pre-facelift Vectra with TC to an 06 facelift without TC, both SRi 1.9 150's and the chassis improvements on the facelift is far better so doesn't really need it.

just have to sharpen my driving skills then lol. i dont make a habit of lighting up my tyres but a couple of times this week coming off our incredibly fast roundabout the inside wheel have give up and spun a little. when the 19's go on then i will definatly adjust throttle response.lol.
Thanks to all who answered my question.

If you have the plug just buy the switch it lights up an otherwise dull dash, plus you aint missing much the TC is rubbish anyway.
