I have taken the three bolts which seem to be holding the Hub on (its abs btw) but I cant seem to get it out! (dejavu lol). What's the best way to get it out?
Thanks.
P.S - Its the thing where the wheel lugs fit into.

Have you taken the huge hub nut off?
I'm so confused. I just had a chat to my local garage who said I cant take that piece out or I will break the wheel bearing. He said I need to take the entire leg to him or get the car to him, in which he will take the entire leg off and knock the 'Flange'? out and replace the wheel bearing and put a second hand/new hub on.
I'd love to be able to do this myself as I have no funds at the moment! How on earth can I do this? The blooming thing wont budge!
Worst case scenario and I replace the entire leg.. how can I take the ball sockets apart? do I need new ones if I do, or can I reuse them? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am so stuck at the moment.
Thanks.
P.S - If I manage to take a Ball joint apart, how do I re-assembly it?

The hub assembly comes off complete... No need to take the leg off.... Once the brakes/disc is off remove the 3 bolts which hold it on and also the hub nut then whack **** out of it to remove it lol... Think mine came off fairly easy, will check the guide to make sure theres not a 4th bolt somewhere...

Just read up on it, you've done all the right bolts I take it? if so then its just old age holding it on..

do bear in mind though that your not hitting the circular ring that it sits in! think best bet is dead centre or such.

take the whole knuckle off and use a vice to grip it. i used a 32 mm socket iirc and a hammer to hit the centre of the bearing. Mine was very stuborn but came of after a few hard hits.
