Signum Service, Cambelt and MoT...

Last time I filled my 3.2 Vectra (on Saturday) it was A$1.35 per litre (0.78 GBP) for BP Ultimate 98 RON.

I did this for Martin and I think Martin was even gobsmacked with what he had to pay.

I'll not too confident at changing cam belts but even I would have a go at doing the 3.0 belt, not too bad a job.

At least on the 1.9 16v, it doesn't knacker the engine if you get it wrong

Worth noting that mine was actually half a tooth out when he was putting the new one on, and he had to add his own timing marks as the ones on the engine really aren't that clear - they're the little blue marks you can see on the fuel pump and rear cam pulley...

Everyone there was very nice, unlike most dealerships - spent a lot of time leaning against the white Insignia VXR chatting to Sharon when she didn't have the phone glued to her ear...

Can't argue with that - everyone just seemed really happy there...

Trying to find out if i can use my aircraft engineering experience to get a job there without having to go down the apprentice route like everyone else who's jsut out of school...
