Default Good price for a Hydraulic Trolley Jack !!!

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to give some of you a heads up that Lidl are selling Hydraulic Trolley Jacks as of this Thursday for only £14.99

This seems a great price, hopefully it's useful info for someone on here.

Ramps seem harder to find these days - everywhere sells trolley jacks and axle stands, but not ramps.

I ended up with the Halfords ones which were a good price when compared to the price and quality to the others I had seen (one set were so badly made that I would never have dared get under the car). I notice Machine Mart have recently started selling 2 sets of ramps.

One thing is that ramps are usually too steep to use on the front without raising the car up first to avoid ripping the front bumper off. My car is on standard suspension with standard bumpers but I had to make 2 little ramps from some strong pieces of wood to get the car up on to the big ramps. The same may be true for the rear of cars with lowered suspension and/or a lower rear bumper.
