Default Installing amp/sub to CDR 2005

I want to keep the standard head unit simply because I prefer the look of the OEM unit

This HU does not have any RCA,s so I,ll need a RCA convertor

I was intending on attaching this directly to the rear speakers so I can leave the HU in situ without removing (Heard these can be a pain!)

I have a 15" VXR sub in an enclosed box that I used to run but can,t remember the Wattage

I,m going to power this with a 1000w Amp - is this suitable?

I,ll power the live from the battery with a 30amp in line fuse, and the earth will be taken from the boot, as for the remote where would be the best place to run it from?

I only really know the basics but if I wanted to run just a subwoofer a 2 channel would be ok but if I wanted to run all of the speakers or just the rear speakers and a sub I,d need a 4 channel?

    Cheers

TBH mate I'd get a Line Driver, the sound quality from these converters is very poor. A line driver is similar but has its own power source so the quality is far better.

What amp would I need though? Just to power a subwoofer 2channel?
