Poor headlight projection

I'm having some trouble with my headlights. The bulbs in them are some Lucas 55w standard bulbs. But I've noticed that the projection onto the road. I've tried every tilt position trying to find the best result. But non of them seem to be better than the other.

Is it just me having this trouble or is it a common think and what's the best way of solving this problem?

vec-c headlights are probably the worst headlights out there mate, quite alot of people have binned the standard headlight bulbs and gone down the H.I.D route.

Yeah, Bobby's right. Most change to HIDs. Failing that, Phillips Nightbreakers i've heard mentioned. I just bought a set of HIDs on ebay for under £50 with canbus error cancellers. There's also a how to on fitting too. No reason not to change really
